She, and many others from the organization, recieved gifts from NW fourth hour classes in the annual Adopt-a-Tot. Fourth hour classes purchased gifts for Head-Start children and their families during the Christmas season.

  • Five year-old Cash Vanetta and his father Ryan Messenger open a gift that Mrs. Mayer's and Mrs. Demkey's fourth hour class gave to him for Adopt-a-Tot on Dec. 2 at NW. Adopt-a-Tot is an annual event that happens at Northwest to provide a Christmas for less fortunate families. "[Northwest taught Cash] about sharing with other people through Adopt-a-Tot," Messenger said.
